Dr. Kemal Malik
- Dr. Kemal Malik, Member of the Board of Management of Bayer Schering Pharma AG
Kemal Malik was born in Slough, England, on September 29, 1962. He studied medicine at the Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School (University of London), graduating with an M.D. in 1987. Dr. Malik then worked for several years in clinical medicine at the Clinical Research Centre in Northwick Park and at Hammersmith Hospital in London. He subsequently held various positions of increasing responsibility in medical affairs and clinical development at Bristol-Myers Squibb, U.K.
Dr. Malik joined Bayer in 1995 as Head of Metabolic Medicine and Oncology Europe. Subsequently he headed Global Medical Science, providing leadership to the country medical organisations. He later became Head of Global Medical Development, before being appointed Head of Global Development .
Kemal Malik is single and has no children.
